We've made a lot of coat racks similar to this, and we loved those. This one is inspired by our original, but we've upgraded... everything.
What's new
- Made from rough-sawn, furniture-grade white pine. Real furniture grade lumber sourced from a local premium supplier, not the typical big box pine. We start with rough-sawn, high quality, furniture grade white pine, then mill and finish it in our Georgia shop. All the beautiful grain and knots distinct to pine, stained to your specifications.
- Hammered cast iron hooks. Heavy, dimpled, and built for soaked winter coats and overstuffed backpacks.

Sizes
Available in any length you want, up to 60". We price by four standard sizes: 24" (5 hooks), 36" (7 hooks), 48" (10 hooks) and 60" (12 hooks), with hooks about 5" apart. Pick the standard size that's equal to or just bigger than the length you need, then choose Custom length and type in your exact length in inches. For example, a 22" rack is priced as a 24", and a 44" rack is priced as a 48".
Hook layout
Hooks are evenly spaced and centered. Measurements are to the center of each hook:
- 24" (5 hooks): first hook 2 3/8" from each end, then every 4 13/16"
- 36" (7 hooks): first hook 2 9/16" from each end, then every 5 1/8"
- 48" (10 hooks): first hook 2 3/8" from each end, then every 4 13/16"
- 60" (12 hooks): first hook 2 1/2" from each end, then every 5"
We recommend close to 5" between hooks. For custom lengths, we lay yours out the same way.
Finishes
- Natural: no stain, just the clear satin sealer.
- General Finishes Water Based Wood Stain colors: Golden Oak, Walnut, Antique Oak
- Behr Water Based Wood Stain colors: White Wash Pickling, English Chestnut, Rustic Brown
- Varathane One Step Stain + Spar (water based) colors: Kona
The stain samples in our photos are the manufacturers' swatches, shown on their sample woods (like oak and maple), not on our white pine. Exact stain color varies across wood species, from board to board, and even with application, so your rack may not match the can or our photos exactly.
Every rack is sealed with a water-based satin topcoat (General Finishes High Performance), stained or natural.
Lead time: every rack is made to order and ships in 5–7 business days.

Every rack is milled and built by hand, so these are close but not exact.
