About this piece
How to order in 5 steps:
1. Pick a style (Bold, Clean line or Pen & Ink) and round or square.
2. Pick 1 coaster ($10) or a set of 4 ($35).
3. Find your designs on the numbered sheets in the photos (A1-A12 Alaska, N1-N12 Northwest; the sheets for your style).
4. Type the codes in the design code box, like A1, A3, N2, N6.
5. Want a gift note? Pick a Gift Note option and type just your note in the note box that appears. A +$5 note goes on the first coaster in your list; +$10 puts it on all of them.
24 designs of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest, engraved in detail on natural slate: a brown bear, an orca, moose, an eagle, Mount Rainier, Crater Lake, the Space Needle and more. Pick any 4 for a slate coaster set you choose yourself. A gift for anyone who loves the outdoors.
Styles: Bold (solid, filled shapes), Clean line (open outlines) and Pen & Ink (fine hatching, like an engraved illustration). All three come round or square, and each set is all one style and one shape. Each style is drawn separately, so details differ a little. The sheets show round coasters; every design is drawn separately for square too. You can repeat a design, a set needs 4 codes, and the codes should come from the sheets for your chosen style (photos 4-9: Bold 4-5, Clean line 6-7, Pen & Ink 8-9).
Pricing: 1 coaster $10 · set of 4 $35. Gift note on the back: +$5 for a note on 1 coaster, +$10 for a note on every coaster.
Free shipping on sets of 4 (US). A single coaster is $10 plus $6 shipping.
Natural slate, 4 inches. The engraving shows as a pale gray on the dark slate. Four small rubber feet on the bottom keep it from sliding and protect your table. Sealed with a stone sealer; wipe clean with a damp cloth, not dishwasher safe. Every piece of slate is a little different, so edges, color and texture vary, and small chips are part of the character. Made to order. Right after you order we email a link to check your picks and type your note; your order ships in 1 business day after you confirm it.

What our Etsy customers say
4.9 out of 5 from 15 reviews on our Etsy shopHighly recommend! This was a fabulous coaster and I plan to use them in the future to help celebrate the successes of those I know completing their pilot certificates!
Simply amazing. Was looking for just the right gift for our son’s wedding this weekend. Found Calibrated Craft site, and emailed to check turnaround time on such short notice. Owner replied in 10 minutes. He suggested a perfect product, prepared the proof and in less than two hours had not only completed the order but taken it to Fed Ex to be overnight shipped. The coasters look even better in my hands. Just perfect to mark our son’s wedding. I can’t thank you enough for the prompt communication, suggestion of the style and amazing turnaround. Never have I had such customer service and for the most important occasion!
I am impressed by the incredibly quick shipping time and the quality of the product as well as the kind note inside
I ordered the lighthouse coasters for my son‘s girlfriend. They are a perfect gift for her because the two of them are always searching for the next lighthouse. The coasters are just beautiful and I love the fact that I could put a saying on the back. They really exceeded my expectations and Bob and Carla were wonderful to work with! I would absolutely recommend this shop!
