Good to know

What is a good gift for someone from Pittsburgh?

A set of four slate coasters with Pittsburgh landmarks: Point State Park, the Duquesne Incline, the Sixth Street Bridge and the Allegheny Courthouse. Each coaster says PITTSBURGH, PA and EST. 1758. They make a good housewarming, hostess or moving-away gift.

Can you put their own street or house on a coaster?

Yes. The Town Map coaster shows the streets around their address with a marker on their home. The House Sketch coaster is drawn from a photo of their house. The Coordinates coaster shows the latitude and longitude of their home with their names.

What are the coasters made of?

Natural slate, about 4 inches across, round or square. Every piece of slate is a little different, so edges and texture vary. Wipe clean with a damp cloth; they are not dishwasher safe.

How much do they cost?

The Pittsburgh landmark set of 4 is $35. The Town Map, House Sketch and Coordinates coasters are $10 each or $35 for a set of 4.

How fast do they ship?

Coasters are made to order and ship in 1 business day.

Can you add a gift note?

Yes. We can engrave a short note on the back: $5 for one coaster or $10 for every coaster in the set.
